Caregiver Companions
A friend for the journey

Caregivers need care too.

Caregiver Companions is a unique, one-on-one, FREE support program for  primary caregivers to a loved one with dementia.

Our goal is to connect caregivers to a dedicated companion who will provide a listening ear, a shoulder to lean on, words of wisdom and encouragement, and perhaps even share lessons learned during their own personal caregiving experiences.

We are currently accepting participants for the program's pilot!!

Care Partner Criteria

  • Be a current primary care partner to a loved one with a form of dementia

  • Be willing to sit down for an in-person interview and then, if accepted into the program, attend an orientation

  • Be comfortable communicating with your Companion in person, via Zoom, by telephone, or by text and/or email.

  • Be willing to provide us with feedback about your experience in the Caregiver Companions program
